Writings had been pessimistic in nature in case of Egyptian literature. This is because there had been prophecies about negative things written mostly (Wilburn, 2019). There had been records of matters of court included as well. In case of the Mesopotamian literature, there had been the construction of epics mostly. One example is that of Gilgamesh which provides insights about being fair/ethical with learning of moral lessons in the lives of human beings (Wilburn, 2019). Autobiographies had been common in the Egyptian literature (Wilburn, 2019).
